Join us tomorrow for some Easter fun in Old Town. We'll have a celebration and egg hunt at Lyles-Crouch immediately following our 11 a.m. service.
Join us on Sunday morning for our Easter services. We'll worship in our sanctuary at 212 South Washington Street at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Afterwards at 12:15 p.m., there will be an Easter celebration for children and their families at the Lyles-Crouch school playground (530 South Saint Asaph Street). Maundy Thursday | April 18 at 6:30 PM This is a joint worship service at Downtown with our neighbors from Beulah Baptist, Roberts Memorial UMC and Washington Street UMC. Good Friday | April 19 at 6:30 PM Easter Sunday | April 21 at 9:30 AM and 11 AM There will be two worship services on Easter. They are identical, so join us for either one. Light breakfast snacks will be available between services. Easter Celebration | April 21 at 12:15 PM, Lyles-Crouch School Playground Our celebration will feature fun for all ages and an Easter Egg Hunt for children.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. The 40 days of Lent represents the time that Jesus spent in the wilderness as he endured temptation and prepared for his public ministry. On Ash Wednesday many will gather and receive the sign of the cross on their foreheads made from ashes. The ashes symbolize both our mortality and repentance. On this Ash Wednesday Pastor Phil and Pastor Brian will be available to meet Downtowners for prayer and the imposition of ashes during the following times: 7:30 AM-8:30 AM 11:30 AM-1:00 PM 5:30 PM-7:00 PM Simply drop by the church and come to the foyer of the worship center. The time of prayer and reflection will only take about 5 minutes.
